The Bulgaria Golden Visa team will be publishing monthly statistics on the number of applicants and their nationalities to provide transparency and insights into the program’s progress.
Current Status
- As of now, only 10 applicants have successfully passed due diligence in 2024.
- There have been no new applications for pre-approval between January 1, 2025, and February 14, 2025.
While there were no approvals during this period, this does not indicate a lack of applications in progress. As detailed in our Pre-Approval Procedure page, all applicants must first undergo Pre-Approval with the Bulgarian Investment Agency, which typically takes around 10 weeks before they can proceed with their investment.
Upcoming Applicants
Although only 10 applicants have been processed in 2024 so far, there are currently more than 20 applicants in the pre-approval stage with the Bulgarian Investment Agency. These cases will be reflected in the coming months’ statistics.
New Nationalities Added to the Program
In addition to the existing applicants from Russia and Vietnam, upcoming reports will also include new applicants from Mainland China and Ukraine, further expanding the program’s reach.
